As a POC myself, I am passionate about working with adults going through challenging life experiences such as sexual trauma, emotional abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and attachment issues. Been an Asian, I am aware of the culture difference among the mental health world in Western culture. I am passionate working with people are struggling with the adjustment to a different culture or how culture difference has played a role in your relationship to others.

With an open mind, I’d like to create a sense of warmth and compassion in my sessions. I believe in the following teaching received from a supervisor: “contact over time creates connection, connection over time creates relationship, and relationship over time creates intimacy.” I strongly believe that through an authentic, compassionate connection individuals can resolve and heal relational wounds.

I have received continuing training in Gestalt Therapy from Gestalt Institute of Rockies and Pacific Gestalt Institute. I have received Somatic Studies Center Gestalt training from New York. And also identified myself as IFS (Internal Family System ) therapist and EMDR therapist. I provide bilingual therapy services with Chinese (Mandarin) and English. I am considered myself a LGBTQ allied therapist and welcome any people from marginalized populations.
